I believed that this would be a good gift for my brother-in-law's property office. He continually likes a cool drink at hand. Initial of all I didn't especially care about the condition when it arrived. It absolutely didn't appear new with a quantity of fingernail scratches on the top in the handle location although the box it came in seemed unmolested and the packing seemed original. The black finish also looked hazy. This item is also billed as an "office" cooler but the inside caution sheet stated that it had to be turned off following a handful of hours "or damage will happen". Their description here at Amazon says ten hours but I don't recall seeing that when I ordered this as a Christmas gift. So you have to babysit this issue all day to make certain it doesn't die? Not a lot of a "office" cooler. It is also a bit noisy with the fan in the back becoming loud.
